I have switched from Windows Phone to Iphone, but this is the best thing that had ever happened to Apple that Cortana had came to Iphone and help us expand our search engine and thank you Apple!
Very convenient. I love using it for reminders and appointments. It works across all platforms which makes it very convenient.
This is a wonderful thing works Great I dont use it all the time but when I do need it it works great happy to have such a thing.
I had a Nokia Lumia Windows phone and loved Cortana but the phone itself was terrible. I switched back to iPhone and found that all of the best features including Cortana was available on iOS...Awesome!
Cortana had just c**k blocked Siri with this excellent app. Cortana is smarter than Siri. It is more accurate than Siri. Cortana has a better voice recognition accuracy to which I dont need to repeat myself. Millions may own an iPhone but them same millions installed Microsofts Cortana on their iPhone.
Im a Windows Mobile fan and use it every now and then but I use iOS as my daily driver. Having Cortana here is great and I find its more smooth that on WM in many instances. Cortana isnt as capable as the WM variant, but is highly useful and I enjoy the syncing capabilities.
Some bad moments
I have a business account with Microsoft Office 365. This app will not let me sign in with my credentials. I even changed them on my computer and logged in to make sure. Why can I log in on Windows 10 but not on this app?!?
Ok I understand Cortana on Windows, but on iPhone?! WTH i have Siri, my virtual assistant but to have Cortana my FILE assistant?! One star 4 u Microsoft.
Even though it works on my iPad, I would not recommend it. The layout and user interface clearly was designed for iPhones.
I bought a Microsoft Surface Book after verifying that it would integrate with my browser of choice as well as my iPhone. However, the latest automatic update restricts Cortanas use to Bing and Edge which just adds to my buyers remorse. I paid a premium price for a buggy product that has been paying for being a beta tester. Attempting to get help from Microsoft is frustrating and often fails to solve the problem after one hour or more on the phone. Now Microsoft makes the Surfacebook even less usable by restricting my choice of browser and search engine with Cortana. I had high hopes for the Surfacebook, but selling it on EBay is beginning to look like the better option.
Could you please allow Cortana to work with 3G? Shell only work with LTE.
I agree with Rathrune’s 12-15-15 review. I was really excited to give Cortana a try but quickly ran into the obstacle of it requiring location services on all the time. Nope, no can do - and since I refuse to do that, I can’t do a thing with Cortana. So I deleted it. Thanks, Cortana, for reminding me why I ditched Microsoft in favor of Apple way back in 2007 and, except for this one time, have never looked back.
